True Observer Foundation is our non-profit pillar. It exists to collaborate with councils, police and public bodies on cases of online abuse, hate and harassment, while also defending individuals and families who have no budget for legal or technical help. The Foundation focuses on early support, evidence preservation and liaison with authorities, so that vulnerable people are not left alone when the internet becomes hostile.

Advancing Media Literacy for the Public Benefit

We are in the process of establishing the True Observer Foundation, a charitable branch of our Limited Company, focused on advancing education for the public benefit; particularly in media literacy.

  • Practical guidance to recognise manipulation, scams, and harmful narratives online.
  • Workshops and resources designed for everyday users, families, and community groups.
  • Clear, evidence-led explanations that help people make safer decisions online.

Early Support, Evidence Preservation, and Safeguarding

When online abuse becomes hostile, vulnerable people often don’t know where to start. The Foundation focuses on early support, safe evidence preservation, and signposting.

  • Helping individuals document incidents safely and consistently.
  • Basic digital safety steps to reduce exposure and prevent escalation.
  • Support pathways for those without the budget for legal or technical help.

Liaison with Charities, Councils and Public Bodies

We aim to build constructive pathways with other charities, councils and relevant public bodies to support safer reporting and clearer documentation in cases of online abuse, hate and harassment.

The Foundation is independent. We do not act on behalf of any authority. We help individuals preserve evidence responsibly and signpost them to the appropriate routes.
